OUR SERVICES

We regularly ship items to or visit our troops in order to deliver cards, gifts, and especially words of encouragement.

If you or your group would like to assist with any of these items, please mail them to:

Operation Note Card

Here's how you can help us:

There is nothing like a handwritten note from someone's heart to let a soldier, sailor, marine or airman know that he or she is supported and their service is appreciated. Don't underestimate the value of your greeting!

  • Ask your schools, clubs, churches, scout groups or any group or individual to write a positive message of support.
  • Ideas for beginning your message: “Dear Serviceperson,” "Dear US Protector,” “Dear Hero,”. Tell them about yourself, too.
  • If you include your name and address, you might hear back.
  • Keep the messages positive. (Teachers and scout leaders, please edit cards and letters from your students. We are not here to comment on the war, only to encourage our brave troops.)
  • The deadline is no less than 2 weeks prior to the holiday and for deployed folks no less than 30 days prior to the holiday if the cards are holiday related.

Soldier's Santas

Often, when a troop is wounded, the one thing they really miss being able to do is provide a gift for their own child. We will be trying to see to it that every wounded service member in our area has a gift on hand to give his/her child when they come to visit "Daddy" or "Mommy" at the hospital. We will offer this year round, so the service member has a gift for that all-important first visit with their child after returning home, for the child's birthday's and of course at Christmas. Additionally, we work to provide Christmas gifts and meals to families that are down on their luck and need a little boost during the holiday season.
